The brief
Carpe Diem Events and Marketing is based in Melbourne and runs the International Student Summit, a free one-day event connecting international students, graduates and visa holders with organisations offering support across employment, migration, education, government services, health and community services. For the Perth summit they needed a local team they could trust to cover the whole day without being on the ground themselves.
Their goal was to capture the energy, scale and diversity of the event, while showcasing exhibitors, speakers, sponsors and the attendee experience, in bright, professional content for social media, websites, future event promotion, sponsor reports and marketing campaigns.
What we produced
- Full-day photography of the exhibition floor, seminars, speakers, VIP moments and networking
- Event video coverage, with testimonial interviews captured on the day
- A one-hour attendee headshot session, edited for LinkedIn
- Group photos of the organising team after the event
- Branded versions of selected images with the organiser’s logo, prepared on request
Delivery
Photos and video were shared through a client folder within days of the summit, so the organisers could start posting while the event was still fresh.
